Research Project Co-Working Sessions In-Person

Make progress on your research goals in a focused, supportive environment.

Are you a student or faculty member working on a capstone, thesis, conference slides, or a major research paper? Join the Academic Engagement (AE) Librarians for our series in Research Project Co-Working Sessions.

Inspired by the concept of "accountability buddies," these sessions offer a low-stakes, informal space to work on your research-intensive projects alongside other writers. Whether you are just starting to locate sources or are in the final stages of citing your work, we AE librarians are here to help.

What you can expect:

  • Focused Workspace: A dedicated, quiet environment to help you stay on task. This room gets lots of natural light!

  • Expert Support: A librarian will be on-hand to provide consultations for help with locating, appraising, and citing sources. Our librarians specialize in different subjects and can connect you with discipline-related resources for your research and writing.

  • Community: Work in the company of other students and faculty from any discipline.

  • Snacks: Fuel your research with a small treat (Gluten-free options).
