Still (After)Life Drawing through our Vassar College Collections
Take a break from your studies and join us for Still (After)Life Drawing on October 8th from 4–5 PM in the Olmsted Atrium, located in the Olmsted Hall of Biological Sciences at Vassar College.
All are welcomed to drop in and sketch a still-life scene consisting of plants and unique college artifacts from VCAP at your own pace. Art materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Plus, discover the fascinating research and process behind taxidermy through our library and college collections. You will also learn about our amazing live plant collection from the Olmsted Greenhouse.
This event, first of its kind, is presented in collaboration with the Olmsted Greenhouse, Vassar Science Librarian, and the Vassar Artifacts Project (VCAP).
