Raquel Rabinovitch Exhibition Opening In-Person
Exhibit Run: October 25–December 20
Thompson Library, Room 125
In collaboration with the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center and to complement the concurrent exhibition Past Time: Geology in European and American Art, the Thompson Memorial Library presents a solo exhibition of the artist Raquel Rabinovich, who throughout her career has investigated how to make the invisible visible. The Reading Room features works on paper spanning from 1978 to 2017 including several works from Rabinovich’s ongoing series River Library, in which the artist uses the mud from rivers around the world as a drawing medium. The exhibition is funded by the Virginia Herrick Deknatel Fund.
A Q&A with the artist will take place at 6:00pm on November 1 during an opening reception in the library.
